We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars. ~Oscar Wilde, Lady Windermere's Fan, 1893

i love the fall.
it's such a refreshing season, cool air along with warm sun.
The sky seems so clear at night.

Spring is supposed to be the season of renewal but for me, just finishing up a big project,
and so much looking forward to forging my blob of a body into something else,
this season feels like a beginning.

Let's see, was there a theme this weekend?

We watched Riley perform at the LWE High School football game friday night.

Spent saturday with a friend at the Notre Dame football game.

Sunday with my family and the Bears game.

Marinated and grilled steak, peppers, onions on rolls brushed with garlic oil and toasted, yum!
Blew off the morning bike ride for tea and farmers market with Kathleen.

Drove Kiefer to school, received a hug, i love that young man...

Watched a full moon rise from the horizon as i drove back home, and saw a
spectacular sunset each time i glanced in the mirror

Enjoyed fruit and cheese, Honey Crisp apples and Stilton, with Kath,
which we bought earlier in the day at the farmers market.

Slept, content, with the window cracked to allow that wonderful fall air in
extra blanket and my sweetie keeping me warm.
